The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) works to provide a framework where the global community can join forces to foster the peaceful exploration of outer space. The committee not only promotes negotiation between countries for outer space missions, but also discusses ways in which developing countries can use space technology to further their progress. UNICRI also works to construct legal frameworks to govern space activity.
